Product Specification

MY18E20, MY18E20-15, MY1820, MY1820-15 are temperature sensing chips with the maximum temperature measurement accuracy of-10°C to + 85°C range ± 0.5℃, users do not need to calibrate. Among them, MY18E20 and MY1820 are 500ms temperature measurement; MY18E20-15 and MY1820-15 are 15ms rapid temperature measurement.

The temperature sensing principle of temperature chip is based on the characteristic relationship of the joint temperature and band gap voltage of CMOS semiconductor PN. After small signal amplification, analog-to-digital conversion and digital calibration compensation, the digital bus output has the advantages of high accuracy, good consistency, low power consumption, flexible programmable configuration, long life and so on.

The temperature chip is built in 14bit ADC, resolution 0.0125℃, default factory configuration 12 bit ADC, the working range is-55°C to + 125°. The chip is calibrated by 100% test before leaving the factory, and the calibration coefficient is fitted according to the temperature error characteristics, and the compensation is automatically calculated inside the chip. In order to simplify the system application, the chip ID search, temperature measurement data memory access, and function configuration are all based on the digital single bus protocol instruction. The upper computer microprocessor only needs a GPIO, and the port can be read and write access. The single bus communication interface realizes the low-cost scheme of multi-node sensing acquisition and networking by sharing a data bus, with long transmission distance and many supporting nodes, which is convenient for spatial distributed sensing networking. Can support up to 100 nodes, 100 to 500 nodes, meters long temperature measurement nodes series network.

The chip built-in non-volatile E 2PROM memory unit is used to save the chip ID number, high and low temperature alarm threshold, temperature calibration correction value and user custom information, such as sensor node number, location information, etc.
