Product Description

The Fieldpiece Digital Vacuum Gauge Accessory, model AVG2, is a thermistor based digital multimeter accessory that digitally measures a vacuum of 50 to 2000 microns and converts that reading into millivolts DC on your compatible DMM or our electronic handle and data logger.  LEDs provide a pump down indicator showing progress from atmospheric pressure.  The sensor has been designed to withstand pressures up to 500 psi (3400kPa) so that no damage to the AVG2 will occur if it is exposed to full system pressures.


Designed for HVAC/R, the Digital Vacuum Gauge Accessory, model AVG2, gives technicians an accurate results in a compact design.  Other features and benefits include:


  • Displays pressure in microns in steps of 1 micron

  • Range: 50 to 2000 microns of mercury (50 - 4000 if meter has millivolt range)

  • Resolution: 1 micron of mercury

  • Pump down indication: when pumping down from atmospheric pressure to 2000 microns, output of head goes from over 3VDC to 2VDC

  • Straight-in access to sensor for easy cleaning

  • Fitting: 1/4" flared brass fitting (male)

  • Accuracy (@~75ºF): ±10%, 0-1000 microns of mercury

  • Auto-off can be disabled for data logging

  • "T" for inline vacuum testing
