    If we want to decide voltage of Solar Panel, we must know the voltage of product (it means voltage of storage batteries in products). E.g.: If Voltage of battery in product is 1.2V, according to our professional knowledge, we know that voltage of solar panel is 2V. Here is information as reference:
    a)2V/2.5V to charge battery 1.2V;
    3V charges 2.3V/2.7V;
    5V or 5.5V charges 3.7V;
    9V charges 6V
    12V charges 9V, 18V charges 12V; 36V charges 24V

    Mini solar module ==>Different voltages:

    1) Solar panels 2V
    There are 4pcs small solar cells. Voltage of each solar cell is 0.5V. 4pcs solar cells are connected in series, so voltage of solar panel is 2V

    If length of a solar cell is same, its width is wider, its current is more larger. E.g: solar panel 2V/100MA, 2V/300MA, if use same kind of solar cells to make them; width of each solar cells 300MA is wider than 100MA. At the same time, size of solar panel 300MA is larger than 100MA.

    Solar panel can be made into different sizes, and shapes. It’s easy, only change the shapes and sizes of PCB boards, can get what clients require for

    2) Solar panels 5.5V
    There are 11pcs solar cells, each solar cell is 0.5V, so 11pcs solar cells are connected in series, voltage is 5.5V. Solar panel 5.5V is used to charge storage battery 3.7V (Voltage of most Ni-polymer batteries is 3.7V)

    3) Solar Panel 9V
    There are 18pcs solar cells, each is 0.5V, so this solar panel is 9V. Solar panel PV is used to charge storage battery 6V.

    4) Solar panel 18V:
    36pcs solar cells, each solar cell is 0.5V, charge batteries 12V

    5) Solar cells can be directly encapsulated on plastic components or parts as requested by clients, so that they can be tightly adhered to with good appearance.

    Mini solar module ==> Obvious characteristics:
    Solar cells: crystalline silicon solar cells; Mono 125mm*125mm and 156*156mm; Poly 156mm*156mm. If there’s no special or detailed requirement from clients, the principle that we choose solar cells is to make current maximum on the limited size.

    Encapsulation material: high transparent epoxy resin encapsulates solar modules; it’s UV resistant and yellowing resistant. Epoxy resin is environment friendly and fulfils ROSH directives.

    Material of baseboard: high-intensity and anti-distorting PCB boards (hard pasteboard and glass fiberboard). We choose PCB boards.

     Mini solar module Basic components:

    Components: Epoxy resin +solar cells+PCB board 

    1) Epoxy resin is transparent material; it is used to encapsulate solar panels.

    2) Solar cells can be Mono or Poly (125mm, or 156mm). Which kind of solar cells are used, it is often decided by size of solar panels. 

    3) PCB board: Hard paper PCB board; or fiber PCB board.  Thickness: 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm 

    If size of solar panel is small, we can use hard paper PCB board. If size of solar panel is large, we use fiber PCB board.

    Function of solar panels: use to charge storage batteries. So voltage and current of epoxy resin solar panels are very important factors. 

    *Voltage decides: whether solar panel can be used to charge storage battery; 

    *Current decides: how long time it will take for a solar panel to charge storage battery full.
